You hit the nail on the head. He Wants Out!!! If you already give him a great deal of personal contact, then he will need to learn that you have your personal time too. If this is done, then you will need to ignore him. Each time he gets his WAY, the more you will have to PAY. Don't know what book you read about sleeping arrangements, but the crate in the bedroom was the only thing that worked for me. Maybe your book was referring to the baby sleeping in your bed. That should not be done, until they are house trained.
