Everyone's right. I lost my Shorty dog in 2004 and I can still talk about him and get choked up. Of course, I think he was the greatest dog ever. He was misdiagnosed by an imcompetent country vet who didn't know liver shunt. I only figured out what it really was myself because of YT, but that was 2 yrs after he died.. I think about how with diet and medicine I could've given him a longer life. I would burst into tears several times a day for at least a month. He was 3 when I got him, and 8 when he died. But, we sure had some good times together!! I remember him every day, I still have several of his pictures up in my house. I'll still talk about him to anyone who will listen. So if you have some stories about you and Lexxi you want to share with us, we're all ears.. Sending you hugs, and crying along with you. You did everything you could for her, she knows that, and she loves you for it.
