Since he's peeing in his own bed and yours, I would first make sure he doesn't have a UTI or something going on. He might just be a little confused since he was going outside all the time and now maybe he doesn't understand that he has to go on the pee pads. Maybe his routine was alot different when you were gone, and now he has to get used to a new one.
