I remember walking to the corner store and buying penny candy and putting it in this really cute small brown bag.
I remember my Aunt had what they called a "party" line on her telephone. She shared a phone line with another person and had to just hope when she made a phone call that she couldn't hear the other person's conversation, cause she couldn't make her call then. About 12 years ago, we still had a rotary dial phone. My daughter's friend came over and asked how to use it, cause her family allready had the pushbuttom ones.
