Yep, this amazing tale did more to restore my faith in humanity than anything I can think of in a very long time.
When our Lori made the selfless decision to undertake her long trek, she asked for nothing and had no way of knowing, no guarantee whatsoever, that her tremendous expenses would ever be covered.Same goes for Patti...with all her and her husband's health issues, her poor eyesight to boot, she reached into her heart and thought only of restoring Papi's happiness, wanting only to eradicate his terrible sadness, loneliness. There were also so many others , like Elaine and co, that were so very generous, not just with their wallets, but with the kind things they did, their hospitality, their generosity. I feel sometimes, that I want to shoout it to the world how incredible these individuals are.
