to test your baby for liver shunt again??? He is now 13 weeks. He had Bile Acid Test a month ago. The results were 5 pre and 7 post. No signs, symptoms, nothing. The reason he was tested was first I believe all yorkies should have this test ran if possible. (calming to the nerves for those of us who are a bit paranoid) PLUS he had seizures....found the root to those...Hypoglycemia. With proper measures taken daily for hypo he has been PeRfEcT (knock on a BIG ole piece of wood)
SO what would you do? I think the test is stressful being they have to fast. I do not wanna mess with his system being everything is going good. I see a post where a babies first test was 29 post now tested later on his are 147 or something like that. 29 does not see all that far from 7 but maybe with these tests thats worlds apart....just got me thinking and my heart going out to the baby whose #'s are now high..... Any opinions welcomed.
