We all know about the problems with housebreaking these adorable puppies, and I've tried EVERYTHING with my Bailey. Yesterday, I bought a doggie door. I can't wait to install it so that she will have access to our fenced yard anytime she feels the urge! I hope this does the trick once and for all.

I wasn't sure if she would go through the door, so before I cut a big hole in the wall, I took a cardboard box about the size of the doggie door and cut a hole through it the size of the flap. I wedged it in the bedroom door so that she couldn't get into the bedroom without going through the box. It took her a little while and lots of barking, but with me on one side of the box and her on the other, she soon hopped right through it! Training her to use the doggie door should be snap.

Anyone else use a doggie door?
