Where in NY? MY bf travels all over the central and eastern part of the state for work- I'm sure he's been there!!

I live in Utica, NY- between Syracuse and Albany. I HATE, HATE, HATE snow and cold and would love to move south. My bf and I have a plan to move in 3 years after he gets a few years under his belt with a new company. (Luckily, they have offices all over the place!) I would love to move to southern CA, but that's out of the question, so I'm pushing for NC or SC.
