I had to take her in to the hospital this morning. When she got up, I let her out to tinkle and when she came back in she wasn't putting any weight on the leg. I checked it and it was
ice cold.
At first I thought is was just because she didn't have any hair on it but it was much much colder than yesterday when I mentioned it on another thread.
I called the hospital and they said if it was that cold, I should bring her in. The surgeon thought there was a blood clot and did an ultrasound. Yep! So they put her under and got it out. I get to pick her up at 8:00.
My poor baby. I haven't asked him yet why that happened. I'm sure sometimes odd things just occur for no good reason. Anyway, I talked to the nurse at 5:00 and she said Tink as doing fine and they were going to walk her a little at 5:30 and try to get her to eat something. But guess what? No extra charge.
