Hmm, I've never heard of that reaction. It's a simple procedure. Groomers usually do it. Maybe it just scared her to have the vet poking around back there. My guys don't like the vet. And if you're picking her up to see if there's anything wrong, she might be panicking again.

I'd call the vet to be safe, but try ignoring her and distracting her with toys or treats and see if she forgets about it. If it persists, definitely see a vet.
