Default My yorkie had a seizure

I am so happy to find this site. My yorkie had a seizure yesterday. He had infection and by the time I got him to the vet he suffered his first and I pray last seizure. My son was home when it happened and raced him to the vet. He said he had convulsions and his head was so constricted it looked like his neck was broken. Needless to say I am so upset and my son is also. The doctor ran a battery of blood and urine tests and said all she can come up with is that his infection triggered this. He is 7 years old. Anyway today he is still week and does not want to eat or drink. I have been feeding him chicken broth with a syringe. The animal hospital said this would help. Is this normal that he will not eat or drink the day after his seizure? If anyone can answer I would greatly appreciate it. When we called the vet today she didn't act like it was unusual. She administered a shot of antibiotic yesterday and sent some amoxcillan home with him. Thanks for any info!
