I know it's none of my Business, but it bothers me! My next door neighbor and Landlord has a House Guest with the cutest female "s**tzu" named Pebbles. Every time he comes to visit he brings her, he claims she was "Abused" by her previous owners by being kept chained outside for 2 yrs. straight without any human or dog contact. Put bluntly she is NOT
"Socialized" at all! In my eyes and opinion he is the one that has the Problem and he's just making it worse?
Why wouldn't you want your dog to be healthy and balanced? It just irritates me that my 3 Yorkies have to tippy toe around his precious so called traumatized baby, that is now 5 yrs. old.
My 3 are only acting normal/natural by smelling/approaching her. He has been visiting for about a week at a time and it's about their 3rd visit, so my dogs know who she is, but "He" is the one that acts "Traumatized" every time she is even near a dog, not just my dogs! What is his problem why can't he move on.......so his dog can move on? He's treating her like she is not capable of being a dog? Did I mention he's 75 yrs. old? I guess you can't teach an old man "New Tricks"? What should I do? I see them at least 3 times a day and it's hard to keep biting my tongue, I'm dying to say something, anything it's
killing me! He expects me to keep reprimanding my dogs as if they're the one's
with the problem? I keep telling myself that they are "Guests" and they will be gone soon, but what about the next time they visit?
