This morning, she must've been feeling especially well because she was running and playing (hard!) with her brother. I kept trying to keep them calm but those 2 are inseparable! So as I was leaving for work, I checked her wound and it appears to have opened up slightly. There was a little teeny bit of blood. I have a decent sized gated area where the 2 stay during the day, so I put Ceiba's crate in there and crated her in. Her brother was with her, just not in the crate.
Hubby is going home for lunch to check up on her. I think she's ok, but aside from redness or swelling, are there any other big red flags I should watch out for?
(I really am trying to keep her calm but she is hard headed!)
I am really sorry, and trust me, Vinnie was all about playtime when he got home last night, even with constant attention it's so hard! I worry so much while i'm here at work and my husband is at work what i'll go home to find. I just hope he doesn't mess with the stitches, i'm afraid he will and that i'll come home to a bloody mess, i just pray he leaves them alone. My sister just had a baby, and someone had gotten her premie onesies just in case, well little James never fit them, so she gave them to me for Vinnie, BUT he uses the pee pad during the day so i didn't put one on him, which was a struggle for me this morning to decide what to do, now i'm just so worried i made the wrong decision! I hope everything goes better with Ceiba, sending more prayers your way!!
