This morning, she must've been feeling especially well because she was running and playing (hard!) with her brother. I kept trying to keep them calm but those 2 are inseparable! So as I was leaving for work, I checked her wound and it appears to have opened up slightly. There was a little teeny bit of blood. I have a decent sized gated area where the 2 stay during the day, so I put Ceiba's crate in there and crated her in. Her brother was with her, just not in the crate.
Hubby is going home for lunch to check up on her. I think she's ok, but aside from redness or swelling, are there any other big red flags I should watch out for?

well i know with wounds on skin kids my mom says watch for red lines around boo boo or circles of redness.....both signs of infection. Thats all I know hope it helps!
