Your beautiful Bella may be a little on the dark golden tan side, leaning to ginger but she may still lighten. Females (especially those that are bred) often continue to lighten as they age -- both on the blue/black areas and the tan/gold.
When asked what color she is -- I'd answer either Blue and Gold or Black and Gold -- I can't see her dark areas well enough to tell. You could add that she does have a rich hue and you hope she keeps it as she ages. She truly is a beauty! |
Thank you for your pst about Bella!!!
Acoording to the site you posted they say it shouldnt be a "setter red" like an Irish Setter!

Hers is! lol I dont care at all she is not for show just my lil baby
The QUALITY of gold on the ideal Yorkie can be likened to a NEW GOLD
COIN. It bears no semblance to a rust, ginger or brownish mahogany hue.
It does not appear to be a solid, unshaded orangey red nor the red of an Irish
setter (setter red). Yorkies carrying a woolly or cottony black coat usually
carry a pale, weak unshaded tan and are referred to as a “black and tan”
(Yorkie).
