I know this is not rational or Christian, but I would pull up every one of those hostas and throw them in their yard! I believe in forgiveness and I'm sure they feel terrible, but what the H*** were they thinking? Please go after them for the monetary costs of Molly! Nothing can ease your pain, but they owe you that! Also, why put their dog down? It was the human's fault! Not the dog's! Some dogs are so prey driven by instinct they will go after anything small and furry. I am sorry this post is so angry, but I'm so mad at your neighbors I could spit!
