My girls will both jump off the sofa and beds but will not go down the stairs. Sissy began going both up and down the stairs at about 16 weeks old, but shortly thereafter she had a major tumble down the stairs and has not even tried them since (she is almost two). Angel started doing stairs almost immediately after coming to us at 13 weeks, but she had two tumbles and will now not go down at all (7 months). I think since Sissy won't go down, Angel just follows her lead.
