I will just say....I agree that it generally looks like shouting, but I have to add that some people aren't very computer savvy, or don't type well, or whatever. I only say this because my dad, who could never spell well nor had good hand writing, has had an office job for years and he would email me in all caps. Then it changed to capitalizing the first letter of each line
Sooooo though I hear what you're saying, I don't always take caps as yelling - but thats just me
