It's summer now. Hire a neighborhood kid to let him out several times a day and do real crate training. If you put the newspaper in the pen he will learn it's OK to go on the newspaper and it will be difficult to teach him not to. If you WANT the dog to go outside you need a pet sitter to get him out every 1-2 hours while you are away for a month or two, then every 2-4 hours. Otherwise you will have to find another method... |
Yikes....I think we're in trouble then....we don't know ANYBODY in this area....and from the way things are going here, I don't think I'd just trust anybody to come into my house several times a day....
