Saffron seems to like coming in the pool with me & cooling off. She started to do her little dog paddle stroke the very 1st time she went in the pool. I don't think she's too keen on doing alot of swimming but she doesn't seem to mind a short swim to the stairs. Her favorite is to stand on a tubing & net float while I push it around the pool. I'm not super concerned about her exposure to the pool chemicals as we use Bacqucil (sp) sanitizer instead of chlorine. It doesn't burn or smell or make our eyes red & our hair (Saffie's & mine) is nice & soft when we get out of the pool. I also have a small wading pool for when I'm sitting outside with her. She'll spend the whole time amusing herself by batting a little leaf around the bottom of the pool. (She likes that better than her floating toys.)
