This looks so painful and disturbing. Ow.
And, btw, this is not related to "cutting" (as implied earlier) in any way, shape, or form. Cutting is done to relieve pain - bc the pain from the cut is LESS pain than the emotional pain someone is experiencing, sadly.
I'm not a cutter, but I certainly hear/see it often these days, and my heart goes out to anyone going through this.
