Tia is scheduled for her spay on the 19th. I was planning on taking the next day off of work so I could keep an eye on her. I'm a school teacher and found out that the day after her spay I need to go on an out-of-town daytrip field trip with my students. I can't really get out of it because I turned down an overnight field trip, promising that I would do this trip instead. I could get a supply teacher, but it would be better if I was there because we need teachers there who know the kids.

Anyway....in your past experience, how were your puppies the day after their spay/neuter? Did you take the day to be with them? Did you go to work anyway? Should I reschedule (it will be the 2nd time I reschedule!) to when it will be convenient for me to take a day off?

I'd like her to be spayed really soon....among other things, her breathe smells like @rse!! Can't wait for her baby teeth to be out and done with!
