You know I wanted to add, one breeder I found, I did not mention I was local....just asked some questions and I guess I had got a feeling that her add wasnt truthful. So after she replied I bombed on her that I was local and would LOVE to come see the parents, etc...and I never heard from her again!
My next searches, I did the same thing because I felt if they had something to hide, they were more likely to want to ship their puppies to avoid someone coming to see for themselves.
I was actually HAPPY to find those few breeders who said "I require going to your house to interview you...!" Shows they really cared.
Thanks for the compliments, BTW |
Hi, I would love to find a local breeder but I don't see that happening. These little guys are kinda hard to find, so shipping will probably be my only option. I've been wanting a little female peke for so long now and I almost feel like giving up. Perhaps she'll find me someday. It's sad because I came across a rescue one a few months back and I fell in love with her. I sent so many emails and called but never heard anything back.

I just adore this breed. As for those noses, LOL! I actually do have one peke now and his name is Snoot. He's 12 years old and I never had to clean his nose with a q-tip but perhaps I've been extremely lucky.

I hope I find a good breeder soon. I'm definately going to start including that I would like to see the dogs in person. This is definately a good way to weed out the bad breeders. Thanks for mentioning it.
