I called the ER vet last nite and told them about the surgery and the 2 meds she had taken. They advised me not to give anything else, just let her be. Anything more and she could OD. They suggested if she was still in pain in the morning, to call her regular vet.
She continued crying and whining for awhile (couple of hours) and was trying to lick her wound, so I put a Onesie on her (whoever came up with that idea is a lifesaver!). She slept in bed with us and didn't make a peep. She got up this morning and had her breakfast like usual and started to antogonize her brother. She is back to her usual self!!
Her vet called me first thing this a.m. and said that she did seem to be experiencing more pain than others, but they were glad she seems to be back to normal.
What a horrible day yesterday was - I'm so glad it's over and Ceiba is on the road to recovery!
