i have a pug, Lucy, that weighs about 27lbs. I can tell you right now, her play time with my yorkies is limited to when i am sitting right by them. she is not mean, she loves to play but as someone said in a thread about pugs last week, (do a search) pugs are VERY powerful. At times when mine are playing, she runs over my yorkies and rolls them. i am scared to death her paws will break their ribs. Her paws bruise my legs when she is standing on my lap. it scares them to death. She sniffs them and lifts them up off the floor with her nose. She has the run of the house because she is actually my husbands baby. You have to watch them VERY carefully around the yorkies. I would never buy one to be a playmate to a yorkie. Ours is solid black and she does have resp. problems. Can't run more than a few feet when playing in the hot weather . it is really hard on them to be in extreme cold or heat and they fart like you have neever heard before. There are two or three fairly recent threads on here someewhere. i know there is one in Yorkie brothers and sisters. My pictures of Lucy are on here.
