I inherited my mothers sewing machine after she passed. I had never sewn a day in my life and thought I would try dog clothes, so I used a dress I had bought from someone else as my pattern. I don't even know how to use the patterns you buy in a store. Now I do it as a relaxer and stress reducer. I make dog beds,clothes and blankets. I also do occasional hemming of sons pants and repairs. Give it a try it isn't as hard as you would think once you get the hang of it. |
