I am interested in this topic as well..Bella was not a barker up until about a month ago; I guess she is more comfortable in her surroundings and plus I havent learned/mastered pack leader role. I heard about the squirt bottle technique but was concerned because I don't want her to develop a fear from water due to the bottle being squirted. I was using the soda can with coins in it...until she got used to it and started attacking my soda cans everytime she saw one.
oh well...my boyfriend claims barking is her speaking to me. Thats wonderful unless it is at 6:00AM and she hears a fly in the room.
