I picked up Ceiba about an hour ago - she is still very groggy and sleeping right now. Her brother (who had been whining all day) immediately wanted to say 'hi' but she wasn't having any of it. She snarled and growled like I've never heard!
She is curled up on the couch and her brother keeps licking her face. I think he is trying to watch over her.
I never want to go thru this agony again! Can't our babies come spayed already?!
Well, at least it's over now. She's microchipped (Avid) and spayed. Her incision looks pretty decent - internal dissolvable stitches and skin glue on top. What I DON'T like is the shave job she got on her front leg - guess that was for the heart monitor. Owell - I'd rather her be bald there than anything to have happened to her.
