She should report the dog stolen, but I don't know what in the world would posess someone to leave their Yorkie let alone a pup alone in the yard, especially while they aren't home. Someone stealing her is terrible but I hate to say that it could have been worse. She could have come home to see her dog mangled or poisoned. I'm a wreck with my Yorkies. We live in NJ the pines section and I know on one occassion, we saw a hawk flying around my little Bella when she was a pup. One weep and she would have been in that hawks mouth and gone. It's happened before. Not to mention big dogs getting into the yard or just plain mischievious little Yorkie getting into something she shouldn't and no one there to hear her crying. I hope it works out for this woman and I sure hope she's learned that they do not belong outside alone. Not even when you're home. Elaine
