I just got a 4 month old yorkie and right now she is in an ex pen (play yard). I was just wondering at what age can they be put in a crate.

I have an 8 1/2 month old boy yorkie but from the time I got him at 8 weeks old, I put him in a childs playpen and he held it all night (11 hours). So going from a playpen to a crate was nothing for him. She does not hold it all night and if someone can let me know when to put them in a crate.

The only time my babies are crated is for bed time and when we eat
