I have to say that you have every right to be upset with the breeder...She brought Lexxi into this world, and she didn't even take responsibility for it. In my opinion, the option should not be "give the dog back and I'll give you a new one"....That's just wrong, imo...You fall in love with a puppy almost immediately, you cannot be expected to give it back...What does that solve anyway? I don't think I would want another pup from her if this is the way she acts and doesn't take responsibility for her breedings...At the very least, she could have been sympathetic though...Just a hey, I'm sorry..or something.
Don't worry about this lady anymore...Her attitude is bringing you down, and that's just not fair. |
You are so right! A simple "I'm sorry" was all I needed to hear.
And you know what else? You are also right about her bringing me down! I feel bad about that! I feel sad, but I also feel like she made me into this angry person that wanted to get even-somehow!
Even though I did get a terminally ill dog from her, I never shared her name or bad mouthed her....till now - all over her heartlessness...
