Mine at fully charged will give me 3hours - 2.5hours of continuous use...I have the charger plugged in at the back of the sofa and I just plug it in when I get a warning and then unplug again when fully charged.
FYI to those running it on the mains all the time.... my BF burnt his laptop battery out doing that, they shouldn't be permantly connected to the mains as it drains the battery and makes it never fully charge and eventually stops charging all together... manufacturers recommend you if you run the laptop from the mains constantly then you should take the battery out. Batteries are not covered under warrenty so if you do this and have to replace the battery, like he did, if can cost you a fortune.
