Congratulations on your new puppy; I can't wait to see pictures. Good luck with the playpen. We used a crate when Rhapsody and Tiger were puppies; they each had their own, and were never left more than a couple hours -- 3 at a most. But mainly this was used for housetraining. Good luck!
