I get the feeling you are a very strong person and will be such a wonderful daughter. He has to know that too. I'm sure this is going to be just another facet in your life that will make you even stronger, wiser and more forgiving. Don't let what the family has done stress you out at all. It isn't worth it. When they see what lengths you have gone thru to care for your dad, they are the ones who will have live with their guilt for the rest of their lives.
