Well, I brought my yorkie home yesterday… She’s 11 months old and so good I can’t believe it. Pad trained (okay, she misses, sometimes, but it’s close!) and very lovable. It’s only been two days and I can’t imagine life without her! I’ll post a picture soon.
I've been browsing this board the past few weeks, and I can’t begin to tell you all how much valuable information I learned! Amazing! It sure made things easier and I felt much more prepared when Bridget came home… Thanks so much everyone!
Okay, so now I have a few more days home with her before I go back to work. And the guilt is already setting in. Her previous owner worked full time as well, so she’s used being alone… but I don’t know if I’ll be able to take it! I’m considering hiring a pet sitter to come and give her an outing in the afternoon… or am I being overprotective? Any advice would be most appreciated! I’ve already got her “room” set up with P-Pads on one side and bed, blankets, water, toys, etc. on the other end. I’m sure she’ll be just fine, but I’m already feeling so guilty.
Are there any yorkie moms in Pleasanton or nearby that would like to set up a play date?
