My understanding is that if the Biewers drop Yorkie out of their name, being Biewer Terriers, the YTCA will support us becoming a separate breed.
If that is what it takes, I'm assuming (you know what that word means, though) that the name will become more terrier than yorkie....and the breed will gets its recognition as the spaniels did when they split into other groups, chicuahuas etc. |
