I was thinking about this some more. I've never bred dogs but if one of mine had puppies and one of them was sick, I could never just walk away or turn my back on it. It's like she just doesn't care about her dog's offspring. She was the one who helped bring this puppy into this world, she has an obligation (I think) to be responsible for it. Even if it is just offering her condolences and being sympathetic. |
