I got my ex-pen from petsmart and it was around 60.00, I think. I got a tall one because I was worried about jumping. I've seen them cheaper online, but you have to factor in shipping, cause they are quite heavy!! I use mine in the potty pad room to make sure they don't use any other part of the room so I don't know about outside, I'm thinking you could stake them.
