We went to Pismo Beach last year and rented ATVs! It was so scary, I almost flipped my ATV on a super steep sand dune.
Anyway, to make matters worse, the person at the ATV shop told me to drive my regular car straight onto the beach and to park it there. I had a little Miata, not made for sand or anything off-road, and we got stuck in the sand about twenty times, and my wheels were kicking up sand and my boyfriend and I didn't know what to do. I was so embarrassed as people stopped and pointed and laughed at us. Then these people with a big SUV came and tied my car to their SUV and towed us the whole way back!!! |
