I got my little one at 12 weeks and we made her stay in her crate at bedtime for about 2 weeks... The first few days were horrible... we would move her right next to our bed but she would still whimper, cry howl, anything to get our attention.... It stoped completely after a few days... One thing we noticed though, is that part of the reason she was crying was to tell us she had taken a poop in her crate (she refuses to sleep anywhere even near her poop.... So part of what made it stop was daddy getting up and cleaning her crate in the middle of the night... We didnt let bailey sleep with us when we first got her because at a half pound she it was just too scarey (the thought of rolling over her) I would keep persisting with the crate thing... Until your little one gets a little older, unless you dont mind waking up with some suprises on your bed.... |
