Oh, I just read this and I hope your lil one is feeling better.
May I just make one suggestion and that is to put her in a confined area at night so she does not get into things that she can harm herself with.
Maybe if you have a play pen, that gives her the space to make her mess but limits how much of a mess she makes. Also it should be easier to pick up.
