This situation is exactly why a female owner cannot promise the stud owner a puppy. There are many people who count on those girls to sell for a much larger price than a stud fee would cost. Your friend has learned a heartbreaking lesson and will grow and learn from this experience. The stud owner, on the other hand, will never learn. I would suggest your friend find another stud in the future.
