Default They learned "speak" and won't stop barking

My husband decided to teach our yorkies to "speak" for a treat. Well that part worked great....they bark and bark and bark when the want a treat now. It's like they are demanding a treat.

The part he didn't teach them was "quiet" after the "speak" command. They are so annoying with their barking for a treat, I have tried ignoring them and also saying "quiet" when they quiet down. But as soon as I say "quiet" they start the insane barking again.

Help...what do I do next to get them quiet????
