I'm rather curious as to what big time show kennels sold their dogs to you Pam. I don't know of any ethical, reputable show breeders that would sell their puppies to a "breeder". If not sold for show, they are sold on a spay or neuter contract as to not let their bloodlines be damaged. They work very hard to perfect their lines and don't want to risk their kennel name being "compromised". Unfortunately, in the past there have been people who have lied and cheated their way into getting a show puppy and then breeding it to just anyone..One of the reasons now, it's so difficult for someone new to be trusted with a good show quality dog.
