That's exactly what I started feeding my 2 after the bad dog food news began. I boil rice in chicken broth with chopped up chicken, then mix that with their Royal Cannin, some Missing link and a little warm water. My "take it or leave it" 10 lb dog now licks his bowl clean! My 5 lb "I'll eat anything any time" dog just shakes in anticipation while I get their meals ready. And I also plan to cook all their food after this batch of dry food is gone.
Sorry, I don't have any gravy ideas, but maybe a little chicken or beef broth would work just as well. I know someone posted a link for home cooking recently. Good luck! |
