I've never yet had anyone refer to our little girl Yorkie as "she". It's always "he" no matter what I do. Oh well. Maybe it's the name. Everyone asks what's it's name first. It's Pookie, so it's probably too unisex and they they say "he".

My husband is happy with that, because he doesn't want to appear in public with a "girlie" dog.
