I was just wondering if anyone has ever purchased their ticket online for an international flight that they planned on taking their dog on & if so how do you get your dog's ticket if you do it this way to take him in cabin (some airlines allow this)?
I plan on taking my dog to Italy with me for Christmas to visit my family, and I usually buy my ticket online. Since the flight will be with two different airlines (United and Lufthansa) will I have to buy him a ticket for each airline or would I just purchase it from United since that's who we'll be leaving with from the U.S. to Italy? However, the return flight will be entirely with Lufthansa
. Approximately how much should I set aside for my fur baby's tickets? Sorry if these questions seem silly, but I've never flown with a dog before on an international flight. Thanks in advance!
