Yes I know. All to often, good hearted people get their hearts broken do to carlessness of these places.
If only there was a way to know for sure who's legit and who's not. Like making it a lay that they be registered with the US government and be open to inspection randmonly, once a month. Not like USDA inspection but serious inspection.
The laws need to change too. It needs to be said that if they are not provided with balanced nutrician, medical care, and, the proper exercise, that they should be shut down and the dogs confiscated. There should also be a law that states how many puppies and breed they are allowed to have at one time.
