Thanks for checking on me. Sure, each day that passes, there are less tears, but the pain is still there and I'm sure I'll always feel that. I do come to my threads and re-read them and just cry my eyes out.
I just try not to relive that moment when we said goodbye - it was very hard.
We have not been able to put away her little cage and bed and her stuff. My husband thought we would do that when we get her back home with us - and that will kinda finalize things for us.
