Wow, that is a lot for doing one hip. Brea's was around $1,120.00 plus the x-rays and exams and tests....
I wonder why it's so much for you? It sounds like almost the same surgery.
I just made an appointment for Kaya to get her vaccines updated and the distemper combo is $38.50!!! I get so mad at vets for the way they rob us.
I know they have to make money, but that is so dumb! I would take her to a the yearly clinic where they are much cheaper (by the same vet) but she has had bad reactions in the past so I don't want to take any chances.
I had to put Brea's surgery on the plastic, too. Not good, but at least we can get it done, right?

Maybe Tink hasn't been a brat cause she is in pain.
